2008 Luncheon Surpasses All Expectations - On May 12, 2008, a crowd of concerned Central Texans gathered at the Renaissance Hotel in the Arboretum to learn about the mission and support the programs of the People's Community Clinic. The Luncheon featured accomplished and inspiring speakers this year, including Board President, Carl Stuart, who served as emcee.

People's Community Clinic Adds Community Leaders to Board of Directors -
People's Community Clinic announces two new members to its Board of Directors: Becky Beaver, J.D. and Milton Hime, AIA. The Board is chaired by Mr. Carl Stuart, owner of Carl Stuart Investment Advisor Inc. Mr. Stuart has served on the People's Community Clinic Board since 2002, and assumed the chairmanship in January of 2007.
PEOPLE’S COMMUNITY CLINIC RECEIVES GIFT FROM SPANSION TO SUPPORT PRESCRIPTIONS FOR AUSTIN’S NEEDIEST - People's Community Clinic today announced that Spansion has provided the Clinic with $10,000 in support of its Patient Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, which in conjunction with many major pharmaceutical companies, supplies no-cost prescriptions to the most needy patients and bridges the gap for others.
Pediatrician Names People's Community Clinic as Beneficiary of His Estate - People's Community Clinic announced today that, to date, it has received nearly $520,000 from the estate of the late Dr. Emmett M. Heiligman, who died April, 27, 2007 in Austin, Texas. This bequest is the second largest gift the clinic has received from a private individual since its inception in 1970.
